Guy brings over two decades of corporate finance and M&A experience across Southern, East, and West Africa, the Middle East, and Australia — with deep expertise in executing complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions.

He combines a strong foundation in finance, law, and corporate governance with hands-on commercial experience, enabling him to deliver transactions that are strategically sound, on time, within budget, and fully compliant with regulatory frameworks.

His transaction experience spans buy-side and sell-side mandates, including accountability for multinational deals valued between R30 million and R1 billion (US $1.5 million – US $60 million). A detailed transaction list is available upon execution of a non-disclosure agreement.

Guy began his career at KPMG, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant before joining Ernst & Young (EY) in Corporate Finance as a Manager. He later helped establish Dubai World Africa, a global direct foreign investment fund, and went on to set up an international business for the Altron Electronics Corporation, leading an Africa-wide expansion strategy across 15 countries. More recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer of a South African financial services conglomerate active in private equity and venture capital fundraising.

Currently, Guy provides corporate finance, transaction support, and investment banking advisory through his practice, AC Corporate Transaction Services (ACCTS). His work includes shareholder value enhancement, acquisitions and divestitures, restructuring, and capital raising. Collaborating with a network of investment banks and private equity partners across the region, Guy delivers complete end-to-end transaction solutions.

With extensive experience advising listed multinationals, private investors, and family offices, Guy is adept at navigating complex business landscapes. His deep understanding of the African market and extensive professional network position him to unlock value across corporate transactions, restructures, and market entry or exit strategies.
